Real World
Written by Japanese novelist, Natsuo Kirino, this is the story of several troubled teens, one of whom is a killer. It is a hot summer in Tokyo, and cold drinks, air conditioning, convenience stores, and love hotels are very important to the characters. Although this is a fast-paced page turner, the descriptions of cram school don't make life in Japan sound very appealing. And I don't remember even a single mention of sushi.--Barb P.
