This nonfiction page turner by Dave Eggers kept me up until 2 in the morning--I was so caught up in the story that I had to finish it. Set in New Orleans and the surrounding area, this is the story of what the Zeitoun family went through before, during and after hurricane Katrina. There are lessons to be learned from their experience. All proceeds from the sale of this book go to the Zeitoun foundation to aid in the rebuilding of New Orleans and to promote respect for human rights in the U.S. and around the world.--Barb P.
